University of Exeter
The University of Exeter is one of the most popular in the UK, with undergraduate applications up by a further 23% this year. Applications for the University’s new £100 million Cornwall Campus near Falmouth rose by 122%. The University has been building student numbers and research capacity, and in 2006 appointed 100 new academic staff, including 23 new professors. Exeter came 18th in the UK in the Sunday Times League table, and has twice come tenth in the National Student Survey.
